This growth requires a high performer for our world class Supply Chain Team. MUSH is seeking a motivated WMS Specialist to execute day-to-day operations of our plant’s systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Corporate Supply Chain Team, Plant Management, and Plant Supervisors. This person will gather data in a timely manner to support plant operations, Corporate Supply Chain, and Finance. We are looking for a teammate who is comfortable with Google Sheets, possesses strong computer/technological proficiency, communicates effectively, is a high learner, and eagerly contributes to a dynamic Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate possesses excellent time management and problem solving skills. The specialist will own the information in the WMS and ensure it is correct at all times.

Requirements

  • Functional understanding of Google Sheets
  • Experience with WMS or ERP systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create transactions in the ERP based on the production schedule to drive plant operations
  • Manage daily system transactions in the WMS to keep HQ updated with real time information
  • Create and manage work orders for each step of the conversion process of raw materials to finished goods
  • Create and manage transfer orders to move inventory between facilities based on production, assembly, and outbound needs
  • Create and manage cycle counts on a fixed schedule to ensure inventory accuracy in both the WMS and ERP systems
  • Ensure inventory adjustments are used correctly and with the correct reason codes
  • Check that all receipts are received and labeled correctly
  • Monitor outbound shipments and ensure they are closed in the WMS promptly after leaving the warehouse
  • Identify and correct inventory and production discrepancies
  • Assist in tracking local efficiencies throughout the plant
  • Design, develop, and run reports that provide the facility with critical information used to make real time decisions
  • Create user guides and SOPs to facilitate the learning and simplify tasks for teammates
  • Provides direct support for training, reporting and resolving system problems
  • Recommends procedural changes that will prevent system imbalances and in most cases works directly with the operations to report the root cause of all issues
  • Manage office and warehouse inventory and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner
  • Be a steward of all systems and train the staff as needed
  • Identify potential system improvements (user interface)
  • Ensure information is available to whoever needs it when it’s needed and how it’s needed
  • Communicate production updates and changes to relevant parties
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and plant functions
