We are currently looking for entry-level Warehouse Automation Technicians to join our warehouse distribution and customer fulfillment center team in Wilmer, TX. Requirements

  • Basic level skill - Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and volunteer for overtime for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Managing warehouse cuts, trailer assignments, and coordinating with carriers, CSO and NATO.
  • Processing and continuously keeping the line of drivers flowing in and out of the facility.
  • Performing detailed and accurate data entry and communicating with internal and external customers.
  • Working closely with Yard Drivers and shuttle truck drivers throughout the shift and auditing the Drop Lot maintaining 100% accuracy.
  • Partnering with the Operations Pilots maintaining operational flow.
  • Partnering with carriers regarding Trailer Needs/Completed Shipments/Late Inbounds/Late Live Loads/Trailer Issues etc.
  • Scheduling Live unload Appointments and assisting carrier partners with changes in appointments/deliveries.
  • Responding to carrier calls/emails (Outlook) and answering concerns regarding shipments/appointments.
  • Processing cuts for outbound shipments and ensuring adherence to CRN Network Cut/Ship Policies.
  • Maintaining records: Filing/palletizing Outbound Bill of Ladings (BOLs), conducting Audits on filed BOLs and T3 reports.
  • Logging Overweight's/Cuts/Inbound Discrepancies etc.
  • Working closely with Operations pilots to maintain daily operational flow and ESD lead time.
  • Performing logistics-related administrative tasks to drive efficiency and reduction in costs.
  • Checking in/out shipments using a WMS system.
  • Providing internal and external customer service.
  • Flowing to the work as needed to meet business needs.
  • Cross-training and flowing to the work as needed.
  • Completing safety BOSs and providing/receiving feedback respectfully.
  • Entering data into PrIME for Receipts arriving at DLFC.
  • Communicating with carrier drivers with scheduled pickups and deliveries.
  • Processing Live Load/Unload shipments.
  • Lot reconciliation.
  • Trailer routing for yard drivers.
  • Communicating with Pilots to assist drivers with load information.
  • Processing Overweight shipments.
  • Receiving in pallet inventory.
  • Receiving deliveries for all departments in the facility.
  • Coordinating shuttle dispatching and pickup from/to offsite droplots.
  • Ensuring seal verification accuracy and adding discrepancies to Seal Log.
  • Checking out trailer information from PrIME.
  • BOLs audits.
  • Filing Orange droplot sheets and BOLs copies.
  • Entering data into log sheets for departing shipments.
  • Hazmat placard process.
  • Updating trailer location for shuttling offsite.
  • Assigning corresponding seals to customer shipments.
  • Tracking all seals requests, use, and maintaining accurate trailer seals report.
  • Communicating with Security for outbound shipments.
  • Documenting appropriate reason code for Operational cuts.
  • Balancing key metrics within the department (CFR / LOT).
  • Balancing Logistics priorities.
  • Coordinating carrier trailer pool strategic moves.
  • Communicating carrier/shipment priorities to the Operational Pilot Team.
  • Flexing P&G and Vendor staff based on operational needs.
