About The Position

L&F Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Loader to join their team. This role involves cooperatively working with a team to efficiently create customer orders, with safety being a main priority. The primary duties include driving around warehouses and loading trucks at night for the next day's deliveries. Warehouse employees may also be asked to cross-train and assist in other areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• 1-year of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Unload returning trucks and load the trucks with pallets for the next day.
• Load pallets according to the delivery schedule from the staging area.
• Place pallets in a way they are safe and secure to not affect the operations.
• Place returned product in designated area for returns.
• Assist with the shrink wrap team in moving pallets to the staging area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and complete other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring overall efficiency of all warehouse operations.
• Crosstrain in other areas of warehouse operation and warehouse responsibilities as needed.
