About The Position

The part-time Warehouse Loader assists with warehouse activities, including loading, repacking, inventory, and maintenance. The role loads bulk and route trucks and requires care when loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. Using order sheets, a forklift, and an electronic pallet jack, the Warehouse Loader builds loads, checks loading accuracy, follows shipper and receiver documentation and warehouse instructions, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Work may take place across several weather conditions and involves repeatedly lifting cases weighing 20–45 pounds over a long work period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
• Ability to repeatedly lift cases weighing 20–45 pounds during a long work period.
• English language ability.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operations experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Additional language skills.

Responsibilities

• Select designated product packages and flavors from the warehouse and load them into route-truck bays.
• Rotate product on trucks and in the warehouse according to expiration dates.
• Clean and repackage product according to RBDC standards.
• Dispose of damaged or Out of Code product after approval from the Operations Manager.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by disposing of trash nightly, sweeping floors daily, and using a floor scrubber periodically.
• Build loads from order sheets using a forklift and electronic pallet jack, and follow shipper/receiver documentation and warehouse instructions.
