About The Position

This position is responsible for retrieving, moving, and stacking merchandise. It loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages products using material handling equipment other than forklifts; picks and packs warehouse orders; documents and maintains inventory; and keeps production areas organized and clean. The position also maintains equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the warehouse industry; work is performed using instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
• Ability to follow directions, with an emphasis on safety.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, with attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and complete work within specified timeframes.
• Ability to adapt to workplace changes and shift priorities easily.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of computer systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by pulling required materials, performing light assembly, packing boxes or pallets, and moving orders to the appropriate staging or shipping area using a computer-based WMS system.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack merchandise.
• Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
• Prepare and stage skids for outbound shipments using different carriers.
• Move products from staging or storage areas into outbound trucks and trailers.
• Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations as needed.
• Remove trash as directed when products are unwrapped or assembled.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following the FIDELITONE Standardized 5S Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
