About The Position

DP World is hiring a Warehouse Lead for its Middletown II site. The role coordinates the department’s efficient operation, supports warehouse activities, and provides leadership to staff. The lead also supports the Supervisor and may represent the Supervisor during absences. The schedule may fluctuate based on business needs to meet site production goals and Key Performance Indicators. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a lead role.
Experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
Prior forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
Help monitor daily KPIs, quality metrics, employee timecard exceptions, and productivity administration, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
Back up and support the Supervisor, representing the Supervisor during absences when required.
Liaise with operational departments to support smooth workflow and synergy.
Provide leadership to staff by setting clear expectations and acting as a role model.
Assist with planning and overseeing warehouse operations and activities, and participate in them.
Work the schedules required to meet production goals and site KPIs; schedules may fluctuate based on business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
