About The Position

The Warehouse Lead performs the essential functions of a warehouse employee and assists the Shift Supervisor with training, safety, reporting, and conducting daily shift meetings. The role includes accurately building and selecting customer orders, maintaining product quality, operating powered industrial equipment, managing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and coaching new hires. The Warehouse Lead also upholds warehouse cleanliness and safety standards and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

0 to 2 years of general work experience.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Responsibilities

Assist the Shift Supervisor with training, safety, reporting, and conducting daily shift meetings.
Build and select orders accurately by following assigned load tickets, ensuring product quality, and delivering customer orders free of damage.
Operate and maintain powered industrial equipment, including electronic pallet jacks and walkie-riders; conduct pre-shift equipment checks and follow safety policies.
Receive inbound products, replenish and restock inventory, repack products, and ensure date-code accuracy and proper product rotation.
Shrink-wrap and label orders, then transport completed orders to the loading dock or trailer.
Serve as a role model and peer coach for new hires and facilitate their training.
Uphold warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
