About The Position

Warehouse Leads are responsible for ensuring that the supplies needed for an aircraft are prepared. They are responsible for recognizing, unloading, sorting, and accounting for supplies that come off and return to the aircraft, as well as new supplies received and housed at the process center. This role involves managing daily operations, including reports, inventory accounting, and scheduling. Additionally, Warehouse Leads are responsible for training warehouse agents on effective and safe operations, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and ensuring all vehicles and equipment are safe to operate, reporting any failures to management.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals and written instructions.
  • Ability to present information, and respond to questions from Processing Agent Supervisors, Management, and Clients.
  • Ability to write documents such as routine reports and informative e-mails.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to count and weigh inventory and provide accurate date for reports.
  • Ability to use common sense to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to difficulties in an appropriate manner.
  • Must comply with the Company’s uniform and grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
  • Must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the Air Serv Corporation Employee Handbook.
  • Individual may be required to be able to stand and walk for the entire length of their work shift.
  • Individual must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Individuals are required to meet basic physical requirements. Bending, Hearing, Speaking, Crawling, Handling, Feeling and more may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous aviation, aircraft appearance or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the supplies needed for an aircraft are prepared.
  • Recognizing, unloading, sorting, and accounting for supplies that come off and return to the aircraft.
  • Accounting for new supplies received and housed at the process center.
  • Working assigned schedules and enforcing that warehouse agents work their assigned schedules.
  • Managing the daily operations of the process center, including reports, inventory accounting, and scheduling.
  • Training warehouse agents to operate effectively and safely.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment in and around the Process Center are safe to operate and reporting any equipment failures to management.
