NFM’s Warehouse Lead is responsible for coordinating and directing all department workflow, serving as the main point of contact for their department. This role involves ensuring staff complete required safety and service trainings, assisting management with departmental policies, procedures, training materials, and communications. The Lead will also manage staff attendance and time off requests, assign tasks, monitor team progress, and act as a backup to the department manager/supervisor when unavailable. Key responsibilities include training new and current staff on department-specific equipment, policy updates, and process improvements, as well as completing and tracking various departmental projects. The Lead is also tasked with monitoring team safety by ensuring proper equipment usage and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
