About The Position

The Warehouse Lead supervises warehouse employees on an assigned shift and maintains an orderly, efficient warehouse while verifying that warehouse projects are completed correctly. The role coordinates forklift operators, oversees warehouse product placement and order processing, and helps ensure compliance with warehouse and inventory rules. The Warehouse Lead also trains and coaches forklift operators and may cover the clerk position or other warehouse areas as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of related warehousing experience.
• Good knowledge of computer systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks and assignments of forklift operators.
• Supervise product placement in the warehouse, shipping orders, receiving orders, and required paperwork.
• Serve as a liaison between forklift operators and the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with rules and regulations related to the warehouse and inventory.
• Train and coach forklift operators on warehouse policies and procedures, including safe work practices.
• Cover the clerk position and other warehouse areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
