About The Position

Custom Assembly Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Lead to oversee manufacturing staff and maintain efficient, safe warehouse workflows. The role requires close attention to detail and care with customers’ vehicles, with the goal of ensuring vehicles are showroom-floor ready for dealers upon arrival. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday on the first shift, with possible overtime. Pay is $20.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations and plan, monitor, and appraise staff results; coach and counsel staff according to policies and procedures.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, setting processing variables, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, and facilitating corrections to process-control malfunctions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel in the use of control points, equipment, and resources, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Manage data entry.
• Determine the best placement of employees for tasks such as building or working on the dock, and ensure loads are built and ready to be staged or loaded.
• Help ensure customers’ vehicles are showroom-floor ready for dealers upon arrival.
