About The Position
Leads the receiving and distribution of raw materials in a warehouse environment. This role involves managing work assignments, ensuring accurate inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work area while adhering to company guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements
- 1-3 years warehousing experience is required.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Basic PC skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.
- Assists warehouse employees in loading trucks as needed.
- Assists in offloading trucks with fresh products.
- Schedules work assignments for warehouse employees.
- Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.
- Rotates products according to company guidelines.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
