About The Position

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for delegating and assigning work duties, coordinating departmental activities, and ensuring product quality and safety. This role involves leading and developing a team, identifying and addressing safety concerns, and reporting work results and improvement ideas. The lead will also be responsible for assigning and evaluating job completion.

Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills required to successfully lead a large team.
Previous experience in leading people.
Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office Excel, and Word.
Experience with ERP or EMS operations systems required.
Demonstrated ability to lead and train employees.

Nice To Haves

Specific knowledge of SAP and Bartender software a plus.

Responsibilities

Delegates and assigns work duties.
Coordinates departmental activities with other FNGP personnel, cells, and support functions, internal and external to this facility.
Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence or any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality system either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Supports the training and maintains the training matrix within their assigned zone and reporting job classes.
Engages and develops team for continuous improvement.
Identifies and addresses safety concerns.
Leads by example and enables a positive workplace.
Reports work results, concerns, and improvement ideas up the organization.
Assigns job responsibilities and evaluates for completion.
