About The Position

The primary function of the Warehouse Lead is to oversee distribution processes, assist customers and suppliers, manage and supervise employees, and ensure that safety regulations are met. Assists and leads assigned activities associated with warehouse operations. Responsible for managing the process of receiving, stocking, and quality control of all merchandise. Oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment. Monitors performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence, which includes service, quality, and cost control. Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy. Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area. Assist with determining staffing levels and assigning workload; include training of warehouse staff. Maintain inventory controls through minimizing materials damage and ensuring order accuracy.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry and building materials.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while also collaborating with others to get the job done.
