About The Position

Capstone is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their high-performance culture. This role is an opportunity for an associate's next step towards management, offering comprehensive training in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, and loading. The position involves working independently or in teams with minimal supervision, interacting directly with customers and delivery personnel in a positive and friendly manner. The Warehouse Lead will oversee a specific area to ensure consistent workflow and meet customer expectations, and will be responsible for moving pallets and cases using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.

Requirements

High-energy individual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to perform fast-paced and very physical work.
Ability to lift and carry 25-75lbs.
Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but training is available for the right candidate.

Ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner with customers and delivery personnel.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-shift meetings.
Lead stretching exercises before each shift.
Perform safety observations.
Support management.
Provide coaching and training.
Communicate with leadership.
Perform yard marshalling duties.
Learn all aspects of receiving/unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility.
Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel.
Oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
