About The Position

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and on-time shipping and receiving activities. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse personnel, supports production requirements, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and maintains a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in warehouse systems and experience with inventory management software (WMS preferred).
  • Familiarity with scan gun/barcode systems and a passion for process improvement.
  • Ability to operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up); certification is a plus or willingness to become certified.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with other departments and lead a team.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-starter with a “get-it-done” attitude who’s comfortable jumping in where needed.
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including outbound shipping, inbound receiving, staging, inventory movement, and cycle counts.
  • Lead and coach a warehouse team to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse functions.
  • Coordinate with the production team to stage and deliver components and materials needed for manufacturing each day.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and manage inventory integrity using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and manage tools like barcode systems and scan guns to modernize and streamline operations.
  • Manage special warehouse improvement projects from planning to execution.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with purchasing, production, planning, and customer service to keep operations aligned.
  • Operate forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, to assist with staging, shipping, and receiving when needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
