About The Position

The Warehouse Lead coordinates workflow and supports daily operations within an assigned department, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, e-commerce fulfillment, returns, and loading operations. This position serves as a working lead by providing direction, support, and training to warehouse associates while continuing to perform operational tasks. The Warehouse Lead helps ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and service standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or related experience
Previous experience serving as a lead, trainer, mentor, or team leader
Experience working in a fast-paced distribution center environment
Basic computer skills
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to prioritize work and meet productivity goals
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Demonstrated reliability and dependability

Responsibilities

Lead daily warehouse operations within assigned department
Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet productivity goals
Direct and support warehouse associates throughout the shift
Communicate department performance and operational challenges to leadership
Ensure daily workload is completed accurately and on schedule
Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching associates
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Perform warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading, replenishment, and inventory activities
Utilize RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and related technology
Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counting activities
Investigate and resolve operational issues and shipping discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Maintain organized work areas and accurate operational records
