About The Position

This role is for a General Warehouse Clerk at a Distribution Center, specifically handling HVAC parts. The position involves stocking, inventory management, quality control, maintaining a clean work environment, and operating warehouse equipment. Safety and adherence to procedures are paramount.

Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC Wholesale environment is preferred.
A High School Diploma is preferred.
Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
Clean Motor Vehicle/Driving Record.
Must be able to communicate well with others.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
Basic typing/10-key skills.
Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Stock HVAC parts in the warehouse, ensuring all items are in the correct bin location.
Follow supervisors’ directions for accurate stocking and product put away.
Report any inventory discrepancies to the Manager.
Perform quality control on all outgoing items by inspecting them against the pick list.
Ensure the warehouse is in proper order by completing housekeeping tasks before the end of each shift.
Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks after training.
Follow the Preferred Work Methods (PWMs) for the warehouse.
Ensure all Safety Procedures are followed.
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
