Warehouse Lead - 3rd Shift

About The Position

The Warehouse Lead oversees an assigned warehouse team and area to help ensure operations run smoothly. The role supports accurate inventory levels and timely order completion, assigns and reviews team workloads, trains and coaches employees, and provides backup to warehouse management. The Warehouse Lead also supports customer service, safety and policy compliance, warehouse documentation, and the tracking and investigation of orders and supplies. The position works the third shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
At least 1 year of SAP experience.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to carry objects 3–5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs. routinely.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of more than 4 hours.
Ability to walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4–5 miles) per day.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in a team lift.
Ability to tolerate hot and cold work environments.
Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23 feet or more.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and complete orders accurately and on time.
Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
Safely operate various equipment and tools.
Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
Track orders and investigate problems.
Catalog and track goods and supplies.
Maintain a clean environment in accordance with the 7S program.
Work safely to protect self and team members.
