About The Position

The Warehouse Janitor helps maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment throughout the warehouse and supports the delivery of high-quality products. The role involves custodial and janitorial work across warehouse and office spaces, employee break areas, windows, and restrooms. It also includes floor care, spill cleanup, proper disposal of waste materials, and occasional use of an electric pallet jack to move products so areas can be cleaned. The position is based at 3300 NW 123rd St., Miami, Florida. The description lists a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while the shift field separately lists second shift. The work environment may be refrigerated, at approximately 28°–60°.

Ability to safely handle sharp objects, including box-cutting tools.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the warehouse, office spaces, employee break areas, windows, and restrooms.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and wax floors to maintain good housekeeping.
Occasionally pull product from pick slots using an electric pallet jack, clean the area with a scrubber, and return the product.
Tend to spills, including damaged product, oil, and grease.
Collect plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes for proper disposal.
Follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
Occasionally lift cases of varying weight, shape, and height safely.
