About The Position

Responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, distribution, stocking activities, and property accountability functions. Ensures accurate inventory management and efficient distribution of supplies across GPTLHB and OHC facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Public Administration, or a related field, and at least one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, property accountability, or a closely related operational area; or associate degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of progressively responsible related experience; or high school diploma or GED and at least five (5) years of progressively responsible related experience.
  • Two (2) years of documented or verifiable supervisory, lead, or team oversight experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees warehouse operations and personnel.
  • Manages receiving, storage, distribution, and replenishment processes.
  • Establishes warehouse operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintains inventory control systems.
  • Oversees cycle counts and annual inventories.
  • Monitors inventory accuracy and stock levels.
  • Analyzes inventory trends and usage patterns.
  • Coordinates purchasing activities for inventory supplies to support warehouse replenishment, par levels, and departmental supply needs.
  • Reviews usage trends, stock levels, back orders, substitutions, and lead times to determine appropriate inventory purchasing needs.
  • Works with purchasing staff and approved vendors to obtain quotes, process requisitions, resolve supply issues, and ensure supplies are ordered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Supports item standardization, product evaluation, and supply conversions in coordination with departments, clinical leadership, and applicable committees.
  • Assists with coordinating equipment and supply needs for new clinics, service expansions, and operational changes.
  • Serves as operational lead for inventory technology platforms.
  • Supports Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) inventory implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Develops inventory reports and performance metrics.
  • Ensures compliance with inventory management requirements.
  • Maintains property accountability records.
  • Supports audits and inventory reconciliations.
  • Provides direct supervision to Inventory Management Specialists and warehouse staff. Supervisory responsibilities include assigning and monitoring work, supporting training and development, providing coaching and performance feedback, ensuring compliance with department procedures, and supporting employee engagement, accountability, and retention.
