About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving activities. This position will lead warehouse employees, maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate the movement of materials, and ensure products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP/WMS experience who can identify discrepancies, improve processes, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3–4+ years of warehouse operations, warehouse supervision, or inventory management experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, shipping/receiving, and physical inventory.
- Experience using an ERP, WMS, or inventory control system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Previous experience supervising or training warehouse employees.
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support warehouse employees while ensuring daily operational goals are met.
- Oversee warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory aligns with the inventory management system.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and process necessary inventory adjustments.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and timely shipment of products and materials.
- Communicate shortages, damaged materials, and inventory issues to appropriate departments.
- Manage cycle counts and assist with quarterly physical inventory and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory for expired or obsolete materials and communicate findings to management.
- Ensure employees follow established inventory control, safety, and warehouse procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall processes.
