About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist maintains physical inventory in the warehouse, receives and unloads deliveries, organizes inventory, and handles related records for purchase orders, receipts, and stock releases to the plant. The role includes keeping rag gaylords stacked and organized and managing the process of buying out products from the warehouse. When possible, the specialist assists with opening products and entering them into the company system. The specialist records vendor receipts and stock releases, conducts weekly physical inventory counts, and audits discrepancies in the recording system. Other duties may be assigned by the Production Manager.

Ability to operate a forklift truck.

Working knowledge and experience with computer-based inventory recording systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and employees.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload warehouse deliveries.
Maintain accurate physical warehouse inventory.
