About The Position

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. This role participates in Prime/Reserve cycle counts, maintains the chase area, conducts investigations for missing stock and transfers, removes and logs recalled items, identifies and logs damaged or short-dated products, and performs putaway of product. The position requires running and completing reports and organizing emails needing cycle counts. Requirements

1-2 years experience preferred
Ability to operate warehouse PIT Order Selector equipment required
Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly
Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards
Flexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skills
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works under moderate degree of supervision
Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
