Responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse. Oversees inventory transactions, supports cycle counts and audits, resolves discrepancies, and works closely with warehouse operations to ensure efficient material flow and inventory accuracy. Works closely with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy, proper storage, and timely availability of materials.

Requirements

  • Inventory control and reconciliation
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) / ERP experience
  • Cycle counting and auditing
  • Data accuracy and reporting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must comply with all company safety policies, food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent walking throughout warehouse, storage, shipping, and receiving areas.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb ladders as needed to verify inventory and inspect storage locations.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, handheld scanners, inventory systems, and office equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to visually inspect inventory, labels, product codes, and documentation with close and distance vision.
  • Ability to operate inventory control equipment, including handheld scanners, tablets, and computer systems.
  • Ability to occasionally work in refrigerated environments and navigate warehouse aisles, racks, and storage locations safely.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, high-visibility vests, hairnets, beard nets, gloves, and other protective equipment as required by company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily inventory activities including receiving, put-away, transfers, and shipping
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems
  • Perform and support cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
  • Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure material availability
  • Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and warehouse best practices
