About The Position

This role is responsible for all functions and procedures related to Inventory, Receiving, Drivers Room, Damage Room, Will Call, Put-away and Replenishment or any department in Operations within the organization based on Company needs. Additional duties may be assigned as needed by volume or to cover absences in any area. The position requires working in environments with controlled temperatures as low as 0-36 degrees Fahrenheit, and all personnel will be cross-trained into jobs within the organization based on Company needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in environments with controlled temperatures as low as 0 – 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must wear appropriate clothing and/or apparel provided by the Company while working in extreme temperatures.
• Regularly lift up to 15-20 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Accurate accounting of all inventory as it relates to Inventory Control.
• Proper processing of Damage Room and Drivers Room functions as needed when temporarily assigned to Drivers Room.
• Using radio frequency terminal to record receiving, put-away and replenishment operations into the computer system.
• Accurate receipt and placement of all products and reporting errors or differences to the proper party while working in Receiving Department.
• Performing any function assigned to Will Call as needed for special projects, to include: NADC order, sub jobber and selecting and processing orders for hot shot load.
• Reporting to work on time, as directed by the Inventory Supervisor, and completing all duties in a timely manner.
• Performing duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing information effectively and communicating information as needed effectively.
• Communicating problems, errors, and safety issues to Supervisor.
• Working in environments with controlled temperatures as low as 0 – 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs.
