Warehouse Generalist-2nd or 3rd shift
About The Position
Kenvue is recruiting Warehouse Generalists to support manufacturing and packaging operations at its Lititz, Pennsylvania facility. The role involves operating forklifts to load and unload trailers and move pallets of raw materials, components, finished goods, and other supplies throughout the facility. Warehouse Generalists use SAP or the facility’s inventory management system in a production environment and perform sanitation, light maintenance, and housekeeping tasks in warehouse and dock areas. The positions are in a union environment and are covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Applicants must pass computerized tests and an interview; selection will consider test results, experience, and skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, arithmetic, inspection and measurements, and mechanical aptitude through computerized testing.
- Ability and flexibility to work an available shift: second shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or third shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Ability to work overtime Monday to Friday, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Physical ability to manually lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Pass computerized testing and an interview.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in a GMP facility or in manufacturing or warehousing.
- Experience with SAP or another inventory management system.
- Experience operating 5-high reach truck and slip-sheet forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
- Experience loading intermodal, dry van, and refrigerated units.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trailers and transport pallets of raw materials, packaging components, operating supplies, finished goods, and other materials to and from plant locations.
- Use the Inventory Management System (SAP) effectively in a production environment.
- Perform sanitation and light maintenance tasks, including general housekeeping of receiving and shipping docks and other warehouse areas.
