About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a part-time Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for performing general warehouse activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise to a staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify counts and update locations, and operating equipment. The Omni Experience Ambassador will also be involved in digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Team members are expected to carry out assigned functions, support club policies, strive for flawless execution, act with honesty and integrity, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, move with speed and agility, innovate and adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. Members are expected to receive excellent service through all points of contact, resolve and deescalate member concerns, and ensure a safe and positive environment. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate - GAA; Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean) and GOLD Club Standards (Grand opening look daily) is required. Maintaining a clean and organized environment, including the OMNI Space and storage bins, is also essential. Team members should understand how to access and read production/financial performance reporting and see the connection between consistent execution and business impact.

Requirements

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics and goals.

Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases by pulling merchandise from a pick list and using a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick and verify orders.
• Moves merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicates inventory and/or equipment problems, including expired or short-dated items.
• Communicates with the club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.
• Works with the team to have merchandise pulled from the reserve area to avoid sales floor replenishment.
• Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and deadlines.
• Follows operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Takes responsibility for individual performance and works with club leadership on performance metrics.
• Securely packages orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensures the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized, performing general housekeeping duties.
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Processes returns to the club and determines how to handle them.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards.
• Meets OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintains regular, predictable, full attendance, which is an essential function of the job.
