About The Position

The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves selecting merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and quantities with a handheld scanner, moving orders to a staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. Associates work to meet service-level agreements, productivity expectations, deadlines, and performance metrics while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized fulfillment area.

The position also includes communicating inventory, equipment, replenishment, and product-date issues; processing returns and handling damaged or spoiled goods; following club policies, procedures, safety requirements, and dress code standards; and providing friendly, courteous service to members. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to lift and move heavier or awkward objects over 30 pounds with assistance when required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member orders in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use a handheld RF scanner to select orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the club team.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Complete orders on time and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Follow operational processes and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine whether they should be handled through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including proper dress code and safety standards.
• Deliver friendly member service, address concerns, and help maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
