This role is for the 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The starting wage is $20/hour, with an additional $1/hour after 90 days of employment. Performance incentive programs are also available to increase earning potential. As a Warehouse Worker at our Loves Park Distribution Center, you are more than just an equipment operator – you’re an MVP of our team! If you’re new to operating forklifts or other material handling equipment, don’t worry, if you have an exceptional work ethic and attitude – we’re willing to train you! Our extensive, paid 2-week training program, paired with ongoing mentorship, will provide you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. You’ll have dedicated support to help you apply your training to daily operations, setting you up for long-term success. WOW Logistics is a drug-free workplace, and the Warehouse Worker position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Ability to work multiple hours in our 38-degree cooler warehouse environment
- Be a reliable team player with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Nice To Haves
- At least 6 months of previous reach truck or sit-down experience is strongly preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Pick and verify orders, build pallets, and ensure shipments are accurate using various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Operate MHE such as forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, adhering to all safety requirements and policies
- Work independently or alongside others to meet high-demand workloads with precision and efficiency
- Receive, store, and ship products while maintaining accurate inventory records utilizing RF scanning equipment
