About The Position

Cumberland Dairy is hiring Warehouse Forklift Operators to handle finished products safely and efficiently. The role includes operating a forklift; picking, pulling, and building orders; palletizing products; loading and unloading; staging upcoming outbound orders; and maintaining product storage and rotation. Operators communicate effectively with team members and follow GMP and SOP rules and regulations. The position pays $20 per hour and follows a third-shift schedule, five days a week from Sunday through Thursday, with an 8-hour shift scheduled from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience operating a forklift in a high-efficiency environment.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Pass a written and driving forklift skills test.
• Pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screenings.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with capability to lift up to 80 pounds, and assist others when lifting is necessary.
• Ability to work in an environment maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
