About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to safely operate powered warehouse equipment and perform picking, stowing, loading, unloading, and inventory duties. The position is full-time on the third shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Overtime is required, including Friday work. The role is based at 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268, and pays $19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• At least one year of forklift or cherry picker experience.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker, standard forklift, and other powered equipment.
• Perform case picking, full pallet picking, and stowing duties.
• Perform load and unload duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.
