About The Position

Stevens Industries is looking for an experienced, safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team! If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and know your way around a forklift, we want to hear from you! In this hands-on role, you'll play an important part in keeping our operations running smoothly by making sure materials and products get where they need to be, safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Proven forklift operating experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Valid forklift certification.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to frequently climb on and off a forklift throughout the shift.
Familiarity with industrial equipment and safe material-handling practices.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, transport, and organize materials throughout our facilities.
Deliver raw materials to production workstations to keep operations on track.
Move and stack products safely in designated storage areas, pallets, and crates.
Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns.
Verify outgoing shipments meet company quality standards and match shipping documentation.
Perform routine forklift inspections, identify maintenance concerns, and follow all safety procedures.
Maintain inventory information and activity logs.
Work alongside production and warehouse teams to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.
