About The Position

Tradebe is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for their East Chicago, IN facility, which is their largest processing hub focused on recycling and the circular economy. This role is crucial for managing diverse environmental challenges sustainably and driving meaningful environmental solutions. The operator will handle incoming drums and materials, stage them for processing, and maintain a safe and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• One year forklift experience

Nice To Haves

• One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and move drums with a forklift
• Follow storage and safety guidelines
• Identify and segregate materials
• Complete daily equipment checks and paperwork
• Help with processing and sampling as needed
• Keep the area clean and organized
