About The Position

Quad is seeking Forklift Operators to join their Hartford manufacturing team. This role involves working directly with production teams to move paper, materials, and finished products throughout a large manufacturing facility, ensuring printing equipment is supplied to keep customer orders on schedule. This is a full-time position with a unique 12-hour compressed schedule, offering more days off per year while maintaining full-time status and benefits.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or material-handling experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
• Supply printing and finishing equipment with paper and production materials.
• Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory using RF scanners and computerized systems.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
