About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Montgomery, Alabama. The role handles beverage products in a clean, organized warehouse facility and uses stand-up and sit-down forklifts. The position pays $19.00 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour for third shift, with weekly pay. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with overtime as required. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid certified Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, including in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Thoroughness and dependability.
• Punctuality and a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within the contract's performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during core production shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
