About The Position

Our Tacoma Warehouse is seeking a Full Time Forklift Driver! The Forklift Driver – Distribution Center is responsible for safe and effective forklift operation. Requirements

• Passing of a drug screen
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
• Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
• Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Forklift Driver.
• Must pass JJ Keller Forklift certification test with 80% or higher.
• Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to load and unload product onto trailers and trucks
• Stacks items onto pallets of various heights
• Receives and distributes products using a forklift
• Assists the production department
• Requires forklift operation for up to 8 hours during scheduled shift
• Maintain forklift safety standards set by Goodwill.
• Maintains receiving and delivery logs with integrity and accuracy.
