About The Position
A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Floor Specialist to join our team in our Westfield, MA location. The Warehouse Floor Specialist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the Warehouse while leading assigned projects.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Warehouse processes & procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail; effective organization and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in a fast paced work environment
- Computer skills; Data entry and Microsoft Office knowledge
Nice To Haves
- Previous project management / leadership experience in a Warehouse environment preferred
- Certified training on various material handling equipment
- Forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Leading projects as assigned by supervisor or shift manager (i.e., auditing, product movement, EPA compliance, display unit conversions, etc.)
- Acting as one of the main resources for Warehousers needing information related to overall Warehouse Operation
- Locking & unlocking the warehouse
- Assisting Warehouse leadership with ensuring a safe work environment
- Performs the duties of a Warehouser (picks orders, loads & unloads trailers), as needed
- Providing backup to Shipping Office
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Leadership
