About The Position

The Warehouse & Facilities Operations Manager is the leader of the Georgia warehouse facility and a key driver of how the operation shows up every day. This role is responsible for the safety, organization, efficiency, and overall performance of the warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics activity, and supporting pump assembly operations. This role is for someone who takes real ownership of the job — someone who takes pride in the condition of the facility, the performance of the team, and the quality of the results. The right person will notice what needs attention, set a high standard, follow through, and help create a warehouse operation that reflects well on Hoffman Hydronics. Hoffman Hydronics is committed to delivering excellence in warehouse operations, logistics, and customer service while building a culture rooted in safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Georgia facility is a direct reflection of who the company is to customers, vendors, and teammates across the business. This role is an opportunity to build something strong, run it well, and lead an operation that people are proud of.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, and facility oversight.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and hold a team accountable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well across teams.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, warehouse safety practices, and compliance expectations.
  • Comfort with warehouse systems, inventory software, Microsoft Office, and related tools, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior pump assembly or similar mechanical equipment experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and physical condition of the Georgia facility, serving as the onsite leader for warehouse operations and facility coordination.
  • Lead all warehouse personnel with clear expectations, accountability, and support.
  • Ensure shipping and receiving processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards.
  • Manage logistics issues, freight coordination, and carrier relationships with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Keep warehouse operations organized, efficient, and running at a high level with safety as the top priority.
  • Help build a team culture that is positive, productive, respectful, and committed to doing things the right way.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and address performance issues promptly and fairly.
  • Communicate clearly with leadership, sales, operations, and other internal teams about operational priorities, issues, and results.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with other Hoffman companies in the Georgia branch and with warehouse teams in other locations to support coordination and shared success.
  • Take ownership of the overall appearance, cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the Georgia warehouse and surrounding work areas.
  • Identify facility maintenance needs early and coordinate with vendors, contractors, or internal resources to address them.
  • Conduct or oversee regular safety inspections and make sure hazards are addressed quickly and appropriately.
  • Work in concert with the Hoffman Safety Department while maintaining accurate safety documentation and ensuring required records are current and accessible.
  • Ensure team members follow OSHA requirements, PPE expectations, and established warehouse safety procedures at all times.
  • This is a leadership role, but not a sit-behind-the-desk management position. The right person will be visible in the operation, engaged with the team, and willing to step in when needed to keep the facility and workflow moving.
  • Serving as a reliable backup for pump assembly operations when necessary.
  • Stepping in as a backup trainer when the primary instructor is unavailable.
  • Leading by example, earning trust through consistency, and taking pride in helping the team succeed.
