About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company with a global supply chain network, distributing grocery and household goods to locations in all 50 states. The Warehouse EHS Supervisor provides Environmental, Health & Safety support to multiple retail locations and supply chain operations. The role maintains, promotes, and works to exceed safety standards, including Federal, State, and Local compliance requirements, and assists with developing and implementing programs to drive a culture of safety across company locations.

This position is classified as Career Framework Job Level P2. The work uses prescribed guidance and moderate direction, requires working knowledge, and may include smaller projects to broaden capabilities. The associate exercises judgment using past practice as a reference. The work environment is typically an office, with rare exposure to outside weather conditions. Temperatures may vary in areas such as computer/server rooms, print shops, or production areas. Noise is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge; uses prescribed guidance and moderate guidance and direction.
• Exercises judgment using past practice as a reference.
