About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company that distributes grocery and household goods through a global supply chain network. The Warehouse EHS Supervisor provides Environmental, Health & Safety support to multiple retail locations and supply chain operations and works to maintain, promote, and exceed safety standards, including Federal, State, and Local compliance requirements. The position assists with developing and implementing programs to drive a culture of safety at all company locations.

This is a P2 career framework role. It requires working knowledge and uses prescribed guidance with moderate direction. The associate may be assigned smaller projects to broaden capabilities and exercises judgment using past practice as a reference. The position is based at 8024 Telegraph Rd, Severn, Maryland 21144. Compensation is $63,000–$78,000, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of the role’s subject matter.
• Ability to use prescribed guidance and exercise judgment using past practice as a reference.
• May be required to lift and/or move 20 pounds.
• Frequently sit, stand, and walk.
