About The Position

Raymour & Flanigan is hiring a Warehouse Distribution Associate. The role involves handling furniture in a warehouse, including loading and unloading trailers and moving items into bins and floor locations. Associates must follow the company's safety policies and procedures and be able to work independently as well as with a team. The position requires lifting and moving furniture, including while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30–40 feet. Raymour & Flanigan provides a drug- and smoke-free work environment and does not offer visa sponsorship for this position; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes weighing up to and in excess of 200 pounds.
• Ability to safely lift furniture merchandise while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30–40 feet above the ground.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating an order picker and electric pallet jack.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Excellent listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Raymour & Flanigan's safety policies and procedures.
• Offload and load furniture on trailers, into bins, and within floor locations.
• Become certified on material-handling equipment, including order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform additional functions as assigned by management.
