About The Position

The Warehouse/Distribution Associate coordinates warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products. The role supports efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility, maintains relevant shipping, receiving, and inventory records, and may guide shipping and receiving personnel. The associate may also assist in other production areas and use agency vehicles to ship and receive products. The position is full-time in Oneida, NY, with a schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Pay is listed as $21.50–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three years of experience in a warehouse setting or similar industrial experience.
Valid New York State driver's license.
Maintain a driving record in accordance with the liability/automotive insurance carrier's requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
Operate and coordinate movement of materials using conveyors, hoists, carts, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
Review receiving and shipping documentation, material movement requests, and warehouse capacity to schedule and prioritize material-handling activities.
Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
Maintain and prepare shipping, receiving, and inventory records as needed.
May oversee and provide guidance to shipping and receiving personnel.
Assist in other production areas as needed to support operational requirements.
Ship and receive products using agency vehicles.
Promptly report incidents, concerns, or unexpected events to the appropriate supervisors.
