About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a Warehouse Customer Service Pickup Associate (Will Call Counter Clerk) for their Distribution Center in Bensenville, IL. This role involves receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. The associate will be the face of the company, interacting with customers in the Will Call area, processing orders, locating products, handling returns, and providing general customer service. The position may require unloading product, organizing displays, standing for long periods, assisting customers with loading purchases into their vehicles, and lifting items weighing 10-30 pounds. Variable temperatures and weather conditions may be present.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Previous customer service experience
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new systems
• At least some kind of experience looking up information in a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Must be comfortable doing warehouse work AND assisting customers

Nice To Haves

• Woodworking experience/knowledge helpful
• SAP (brand) software experience

Responsibilities

• Looking up customer information in the computer
• Interacting face-to-face with customers arriving at the warehouse facility to pick up their orders
• Assist with warehouse picking and packing duties
• Contacting customers via phone as needed and handing them their orders
• Performing inventory counts to ascertain product quantity accuracy
• General customer service duties
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Seeking out other work during any downtime as needed
• Unload product that will be placed in the will call display area
• Making sure all product on display is correctly positioned
• Ensuring displays are clean and organized
