The Clerk, Will Call will support all will call operations by meeting customer expectations and deadlines through pick-ups and courier service. We are looking for a Will Call Clerk who relish the chance to push their potential, grow and reap the rewards of joining the US FOODS® family. As a US FOODS® Will Call Clerk you will be assisting the warehouse, sales team, customers, and vendors with order placements for pick up or delivery. Perform back up activities throughout warehouse supporting all aspects of shipping and receiving. Activities include data entry of shipping and receiving information, preparation and distribution related reports, or file/records. The Will Call Clerk will be expected to perform essential selector duties when volume permits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
- Telephone skills, math skills, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, and good analytical skills
- Resolve routine problems of limited scope
Responsibilities
- Process Will Call orders from warehouse with accuracy and support with customer service
- Be willing to cross train with other positions in operations
- Prepare and update delivery appointment sheet daily for shipping and receiving
- Responsible for accurate data entry with shipping and receiving information
- Prepare in-bound documents, preparation and distribution related reports, or file/record maintenance
- Manage discrepancy report
- Communicate with management on daily basis
- File out of stock and damage claims within warehouse
- Perform essential selector duties when volume permits
