About The Position

Continental Fire Sprinkler Company, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, is a turnkey fire protection contractor headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The company has completed projects in multiple states since 1971. The Warehouse Craftsman organizes and maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and job materials; handles shipping and receiving; performs basic repairs and fabrication; and delivers materials and equipment to local jobsites. The role requires meeting physical requirements and working outdoors in all weather conditions while following safety and project rules. Overtime may be needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current driver's license and clean driving history.
• Punctuality and ability to work overtime if needed.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Fundamental math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40 pounds or more throughout the day.
• Ability to meet all physical requirements.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 certification.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience in the sprinkler industry.
• DOT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and job materials.
• Load and unload trucks using a hand truck or forklift.
• Use a computer to prepare materials for shipping and receiving.
• Perform basic repairs of tools and equipment and fabricate pipe and hangers.
• Deliver materials and equipment to local jobsites.
• Observe and comply with safety and project rules.
• Perform other duties as required.
