About The Position

Gateway Supply is seeking a dependable Warehouse/Counter Associate to support customers and daily operations. The role combines counter and phone customer service with warehouse work, including assisting with HVAC and plumbing orders and product questions, checking inventory availability, receiving and stocking products, and supporting order fulfillment. The position is suited to someone who enjoys variety, stays organized, and values accuracy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Prior counter, warehouse, and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Willingness to learn the company's products and processes.
• Ability to work in a non-environmentally controlled warehouse where temperatures may vary.
• Strong commitment to customer service and a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Comfort balancing counter responsibilities and warehouse tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the counter and by phone.
• Help customers place and verify orders for HVAC and plumbing products.
• Assist with product questions and inventory availability.
• Receive and stock inventory, keeping products organized for quick access.
• Support warehouse tasks such as scanning, picking, and staging orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily goals.
