About The Position

The company is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join their team. Requirements

  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management System and Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Confident computer skills navigating internet and customer portals.
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT material shipping requirements
  • Knowledge of D.O.T. specifications for loads, loading patterns and overweight loads.
  • Valid Forklift certification from a Refresco approved trainer.
  • Ability to Mult-Task
  • Clear and effective communication with team members, management and other departments
  • Must be able to complete unit conversions and perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve operational issues.
  • High level of accuracy in handling materials and recording information.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and schedules.
  • Efficient in managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Participation in safety audits and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Proficiency with SAP: Supply Chain Dynamic Menu / Dock Scheduling / PGI Reporting / Receiving functions

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in Inventory Control or Customer Service is a plus.
  • Food/Beverage Manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Adhere to food quality and food safety standards.
  • Check in carrier drivers, assign dock doors, dispatch and coordinate yard trailer moves.
  • Maintain accurate records of loaded drop trailers in the yard, conduct yard checks, and issue daily status updates.
  • Perform shipping/receiving administrative duties including filing, preparing reports, and clerical tasks.
  • Coordinate raw materials deliveries for production, verifying against packing lists and COA’s.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure product availability for required ship dates.
  • Perform daily verification of raw materials, concentrates, ingredients, packaging materials, and pallets.
  • Coordinate dunnage and recycling inbounds, ensuring efficient loading of dunnage trailers.
  • Process all finished good shipments, sending necessary paperwork to Co-pack plants.
  • Prepare Bill of Lading or customs information, prepare paperwork for invoicing, and complete post goods issue transactions in SAP.
  • Verify with carriers that appointments are available using the dock schedule and reschedule if there are no-shows.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and recounts on raw materials.
  • Review documentation for completeness of deliveries and document/follow up on any short or inaccurate deliveries.
  • Inform management of all discrepancies in inventories for raw materials.
  • Ship lab samples or other packages as required via Courier Service.
  • Perform daily checks on seals, locks, and potential damage on trailers.
  • Release carrier drivers after loading or unloading is complete and report any driver issues.
  • Monitor shipments, coordinate deliveries, issue shipping instructions, trace and expedite shipments.
  • Verify order completion by forklift operator prior to producing paperwork.
  • Coordinate product transport between internal warehouses or to offsite/3rd party warehouses.
  • Verify pallet counts and type and adjust counts in SAP if needed.
  • Reconcile invoices to purchase orders in SAP Open Text.
  • Keep receiving docks and raw material storage areas clean and free of debris.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Track and communicate door service status and work with Manager/Maintenance to schedule repairs.
  • Assist with dispatching and billing duties, as needed.
  • Represent the company in a positive professional and harmonious manner.
