Warehouse Coordinator - Spring Hill
About The Position
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, storing, cleaning, repairing, displaying, and disposing of non-cash items and helping maintain the interior and exterior of the Thrift Store in a clean and orderly condition. The position reports directly to the Thrift Store Manager and is eligible for overtime pay. The role also involves assisting with loading and unloading, picking up and transporting donated items, issuing non-cash receipts, helping operate checkout lanes and perform administrative duties, and assisting customers and donors courteously. The coordinator represents the Youth Ranches and Sheriffs Ranches Enterprises positively and provides exceptional customer service. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, as required by Florida law.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Regularly lift up to 100 pounds.
- Successfully complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive, store, clean, and repair donated items.
- Arrange display and storage areas for maximum utilization.
- Help maintain a clean appearance of the store and surrounding grounds.
- Assist with loading and unloading items.
- Become familiar with the process for non-cash gifts and the operation of the Thrift Store.
- Pick up and transport donated items.
- Issue non-cash receipts to donors.
- Assist with operating checkout lanes as needed.
- Assist customers and donors promptly and courteously.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed.
- Represent the Youth Ranches and Sheriffs Ranches Enterprises positively to donors, customers, and the public, providing exceptional customer service.
