The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring an inventory accuracy of 99.8%. This role involves reviewing inventory reports and order patterns to identify items for automatic, recurring delivery, and providing these reports to procurement and department managers. The coordinator will develop and maintain good working relationships with team members and vendors, and maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. Key duties include recording movements, maintaining the database, reconciling stock counts, managing the Cycle Count Program, investigating discrepancies, and participating in inventory process enhancements. The position also involves making transfers, tagging and tracking inventory items, ensuring FIFO and LIFO are maintained, providing documents for PFG shipments, checking in drivers, scheduling inbound and outbound appointments, preparing and filing Purchase Orders and Bill of Ladings, and performing miscellaneous job-related duties. Additionally, the role focuses on minimizing food waste, applying food safety guidelines, inspecting raw ingredients, operating production equipment safely and efficiently, packaging finished goods, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with all relevant regulations (OSHA, FDA, USDA). The coordinator must adapt to changing production demands, meet performance goals, and work both independently and as part of a team in a structured production environment.
