About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring an inventory accuracy of 99.8%. This role involves reviewing inventory reports and order patterns to identify items for automatic, recurring delivery, and providing these reports to procurement and department managers. The coordinator will develop and maintain good working relationships with team members and vendors, and maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. Key duties include recording movements, maintaining the database, reconciling stock counts, managing the Cycle Count Program, investigating discrepancies, and participating in inventory process enhancements. The position also involves making transfers, tagging and tracking inventory items, ensuring FIFO and LIFO are maintained, providing documents for PFG shipments, checking in drivers, scheduling inbound and outbound appointments, preparing and filing Purchase Orders and Bill of Ladings, and performing miscellaneous job-related duties. Additionally, the role focuses on minimizing food waste, applying food safety guidelines, inspecting raw ingredients, operating production equipment safely and efficiently, packaging finished goods, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with all relevant regulations (OSHA, FDA, USDA). The coordinator must adapt to changing production demands, meet performance goals, and work both independently and as part of a team in a structured production environment.

Requirements

  • 2 years or more experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Perform many job duties in refrigerated conditions (35-40°F) for extended periods.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and OSHA regulations.
  • Safely lift, carry, push, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Remain on feet for the majority of the shift while performing repetitive motions, including reaching, bending, and twisting, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels with an expected accuracy of 99.8%.
  • Review inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Provide inventory reports to procurement and department managers as requested.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with team members and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
  • Record movements, maintain database, and reconcile actual stock count to system-generated reports.
  • Maintain Cycle Count Program and investigate discrepancies.
  • Participate in the development of Inventory Process Enhancements.
  • Investigate Daily Inventory Discrepancies.
  • Make transfers, tag and track inventory items.
  • Ensure that FIFO and LIFO are maintained per customer expectations.
  • Provide documents for PFG shipments and support as needed.
  • Check in drivers by getting their information and communicating with the Receiving Team.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound appointments.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders and Bill of Ladings for the receiving team and file Purchasing Orders and Bill of Ladings.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure food waste is minimized, and food safety guidelines (Storing Food Properly, FIFO) are always applied.
  • Inspect raw ingredients for quality.
  • Safely and efficiently operate production equipment, such as mixers, slicers, blenders, and conveyors to produce products.
  • Package and box finished good materials for shipping.
  • Maintain cleanliness and handle food products in compliance with quality control procedures, OSHA, FDA, and USDA regulations.
  • Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, hairnets, face masks, and other safety gear.
  • Adapt to changing production demands and meet daily performance goals.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a structured production environment.
